The West Virginia Reading Association has been dedicated to changing lives through reading since 1968. For more than 50 years, our organization remains committed to the people of West Virginia. Stressing the importance of literacy and life-long learning is critical to our initiatives.
The West Virginia Reading Association Executive Board consists of 16 individuals who sit on the Board of Directors and 13 committee chairs.
The Board of Directors has the authority over the property and affairs of the Association and will take such actions to facilitate the purposes of the Association. The Board of Directors is the legislative body of the Association.
While some projects were put on hold in 2020 and 2021, WVRA continues to look to the future. Learn about our collaborations at the local, state and international levels.
