DESCRIPTION:Jefferson County Reading Council\, West Virginia Reading Association and Shepherd University proudly announces the 10th Annual Literacy Leaders Conference scheduled for February 24\, 2024 with weather date of March 2\, 2024. \nThis year’s theme will be “The Write Stuff:  Strategies for Effective Literacy Teaching.” \nThe keynote address will be given by Jessica Salfia and is entitled:  “The Right to Tell Stories:  Meaning Making\, Freedom and Joy.” \nRegistration begins at 8 am followed by the keynote\, concurrent sessions\, and closing remarks. \nPre registration is $25\nOn site will be $40 \nPlease visit Jefferson County Reading Council to register or for more information about submitting a proposal or becoming a presenter! \nWe hope that you can join us for this day event!
